Mike & Wendy Wood :: C&MA

In 2004 Mike and Wendy Wood were called to Northern Thailand through the Christian and Missionary Alliance to minister within some of the toughest areas in the region of sex trafficking and to evangelize unreached-people groups. Since 2007 as Member Care Providers, the Woods “help meet the spiritual, emotional and educational needs of missionary families who serve in the SE Asian region,” with the goal “to keep missionaries and their families in their areas of ministry long-term.” Their main focus of ministry is at Grace International School (Chiang Mai) where Wendy is the elementary VP and substitute teacher, and Mike is a HS Bible teacher. In these roles they bring the gospel to unbelieving students and their families, mentor Christian students and support other staff members. Additionally, Mike provides professional counseling, spiritual direction and support to other missionary men, pastors and ministry leaders. They have two grown children living in their home state of Washington.
