Sunny Abraham :: Glory to Glory Transformation

Sunny Abraham serves as the President of Great Harvest Theological Institute, located in Avadi, Chennai, India. For over 20 years, Sunny has been committed to advancing the Gospel through theological education, leadership training, and church planting across India and South Asia. After sensing a clear call to ministry at a young age, Sunny pursued theological training and soon began equipping others to do the same. What began as small gatherings for discipleship has grown into a thriving institute dedicated to raising up biblically grounded, Spirit-filled leaders who are passionate about serving the Church and their communities. Through Great Harvest, Sunny and his team have trained hundreds of pastors, church planters, and ministry leaders-many of whom now serve in some of the most spiritually and economically challenged areas of the region. His vision is to empower indigenous leaders who understand the culture, language, and unique challenges of their communities, and to see healthy, self-sustaining churches flourish in every corner of India. Sunny is also actively involved in community outreach, youth empowerment, and mentoring young leaders. His heart is not only for theological depth but also for practical expressions of the Gospel-feeding the hungry, caring for widows and orphans, and offering hope to the hopeless. Sunny is married to Mercy, and together they have three wonderful children: Steven, Silas, and Susan. As a family, they serve the Lord with joy and humility, opening their home and hearts to many. Their ministry is deeply rooted in prayer, hospitality, and a desire to see lives transformed by the love of Christ.
